As Wigan Athletic Supporters Club and more recently Alan of TNS has highlighted over the last few weeks, there is a campaign run by the FSF for away match tickets to priced at a maximum of £20.

Last season fans saved nearly £350,000 as a direct action from this and let’s hope it sets a marker for more clubs to join in next season.

fsfThe FSF said “This is only the beginning, and we’d love to see more clubs introducing such deals. Ticket pricing isn’t “fixed”, but it is a small step in the right direction and we’ve always been big believers in giving clubs credit when it’s due (just as we’re happy to give them stick if they get it wrong).”
