We have had an email through form a man at Newport County that is offering for sale all his memorabilia that he has collected over the years, this includes and item of Wigan Athletic History. the email goes:
Newport County’s unofficial historian has sadly been diagnosed with a brain tumour which is terminal.
He has plenty of old kit that he acquired over the years but unfortunately now has to part with it.
He is selling his enormous memorabilia collection…………….. he says “I have always refused to part with a single thing but it needs be done.”
If there is any interest in a Wigan No.3 shirt worn in the 96/97 Championship season and signed by the squad, please email me on info@wiganathleticsupportersclub.co.uk and I will let the guy have your details.
