Newcastle United may not be everyone’s favourite football team but, in the light of your interest and involvement in football, you may like to spare a thought for life-long member of the Toon Army, George Stephenson, mourning the death of his wife and protesting his innocence of rape and murder in his home town of Hexham.

Charged with solving that and another two possibly connected murders, Detective Inspector Elspeth Sanderson follows several leads before arresting, just outside Darlington, a Polish immigrant and minder of one of the victims.

image001But despite his confession and strongly corroborative DNA evidence, Elspeth decides that they have arrested the wrong man and continues her investigation while considering if advice that she should “cherchez la femme” could possibly be relevant in a case of rape.

The St James’ Park Murders is now available from Amazon on your PC, Kindle, iPad or other e-reader for less than the price of a pie or a cup of tea at St James’ Park!

Bob
