88 years of history, the most special memories for thousands of Wiganers and unparalleled community impact. Wigan Athletic Football Club is critical to our town’s success and now is the time for the town of Wigan to take control of our football club.

The 2019/20 ‘Let’s Hang On’ Crowd Funder – led by Wigan Athletic Supporters Club (WASC) – saw Latics supporters and the whole football community raise almost £200,000 to ensure that Wigan Athletic could fulfil its league fixtures and complete the season after the club was placed into administration on 1 July.

Nearly two months on, there is now a real risk that Wigan Athletic may not attract new owners before the 2020/21 season begins. It is now critical that we come together to SAVE OUR CLUB and be part of its future.

How do we do this?

We need to raise £500,000 by Monday 31st August 2020

Through our supporters and the support of long-term partners, WE CAN DO THIS!

• Backed by Jonathan Jackson, Lisa Nandy MP, Wigan Council and Wigan Athletic Community Trust, this support will ensure supporter representation as part of any new ownership
• We can shape the future of our football club and ensure our community club is sustainable and here for our children and grandchildren to experience all of the memories we have over the last 88 years

We need every supporter to pledge as much as they can reasonably afford in order to meet our targets, SAVE OUR CLUB and ensure that our community can drive Wigan Athletic’s future.

Tier 1:Click here to donate £250 – £499

• Receive annual financial statements
• Receive a quarterly report on club matters
• Members’ names will be displayed in the stadium and on a dedicated page on the club website

Tier 2:Click here to donate £500 – £999

All the rewards from Tier 1 plus:

• Consultation on selected non-football commercial club decisions, for example kit choices, ticket pricing etc.
• Enjoy priority access to selected future club events
• Receive an invitation to the Annual Supporters Club Conference

Tier 3:Click here to donate £1,000+

All the rewards from Tiers 1 and 2 plus:

• Access a training ground tour each season
• Take your place on an official ‘team photo’
• Receive exclusive ‘bring friends’ tickets each season
• Be part of a monthly briefing with the first team manager

Tier 4:
Business

We believe the support of our local business community will play a crucial role in the success of our campaign and in the future of our football club.
