Gillingham v Wigan Athletic rescheduled from Good Friday
Supporters Club News
WASC is delighted to see that the takeover has officially been completed.
This has been an unprecedented season for Wigan Athletic and the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club. Firstly with us being put in to administration, but also through the devastating restrictions the COVID19 pandemic landed on us.
Gillingham moved from Good Friday
Our Good Friday game against Gillingham has now been rescheduled for a 5.30pm kick off on Wednesday 31st March 2021.
The news was broke on the official site:
Wigan Athletic’s Sky Bet League One trip to Gillingham will now take place on Wednesday 31 March, with a 5.30pm kick-off.
The match – which was initially scheduled for Good Friday – has been brought forwards to allow for slightly more reasonable travel and recovery times, in the continued absence of supporters at matches, with Latics facing Portsmouth at the DW Stadium on Easter Monday
The match will be available to view on Latics TV, with match passes on sale in due course.
As and when supporters can return to fixtures, midweek matches will revert to 7.45pm kick-offs.
